Zantech is looking for an Army Senior SAP Consultant specializing in cost management, to bridge the gap between technology and financial efficiency within the military.

Your role involves leveraging SAP systems to optimize cost control, budget adherence, and resource allocation. By collaborating with Army leadership and analyzing financial data, you’ll contribute to effective decision-making and mission success.

This role offers a unique blend of technical expertise and financial acumen. As an Army Senior SAP Consultant for Cost Management, you’ll contribute directly to the financial stability and operational effectiveness of our armed forces.

Responsibilities:

Cost Analysis and Optimization:

Evaluate Army programs, projects, and operations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Analyze financial data, including expenditures, resource allocation, and budget variances.
Recommend strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

SAP Implementation and Customization:

Collaborate with project teams to implement SAP solutions tailored to cost management.
Configure SAP modules (e.g., SAP Controlling, SAP Funds Management) to align with Army requirements.
Customize interfaces and workflows for seamless financial processes.

Budget Monitoring and Compliance:

Monitor Army budgets, track spending, and ensure compliance with funding allocations.
Provide timely reports on budget performance to senior leadership.
Address deviations and propose corrective actions.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

Assess financial risks related to Army initiatives.
Develop risk mitigation strategies to prevent cost overruns.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and policies.

Training and Support:

Train Army personnel on SAP cost management processes.
Provide user support during SAP implementation and post-implementation phases.
Foster a culture of financial responsibility and accountability.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on SAP advancements and best practices.
Propose enhancements to existing SAP systems for better cost control.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.

Skills:

Proficiency in SAP modules relevant to cost management (e.g., SAP Controlling, SAP Funds Management).
Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
Knowledge of military financial processes and regulations.

Experience:

At least 6 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Consultant.
Prior exposure to Army financial systems or government accounting is advantageous.
