Zantech is looking for a talented Contract Support Services Specialist to provide acquisition management support services our Federal Client, the DHS/CBP Cargo Systems Program Directorate (CSPD), focused on cargo systems applications.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Contract Management
- Support receipt and distribution of proposals to Business Managers and sub-CORs as directed by the Contracting Officer (CO)
- Assist in preparing Task Orders (TOs), Delivery Orders (DOs), and Purchase Orders (POs)
- Assist in preparing modifications to TOs, DOs, and POs
- Review contractor notifications and requests for consent to subcontract
- Act as liaison with CBP business management personnel
Contract Administration
- Assist in monitoring and tracking invoice payment schedules
- Process incoming invoices for COR review and approval, ensuring compliance with the Prompt Payment Act
- Support the COR in meetings with government and contractor personnel on invoicing issues
- Maintain TO/DO/PO databases for modifications and award fees
- Assist COR in receiving and forwarding deliverables to Configuration Management
- Help prepare Deliverable Response Letters
- Support contract/TO closeout, reports, and artifacts
- Monitor, track, and maintain contract files and correspondence
Deliverables
- Kick-off Meeting Briefing with staffing identification (within 5 business days after award)
- Monthly Status Reports (due by the 10th of each following month)
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Federal and agency laws, regulations, and procedures applicable to the acquisition process
- Various contract types including Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Cost-Type, Time-and-Materials (T&M), and Fixed-Price contracts
- Experience with complex contract requirements including innovative acquisition techniques, streamlining capabilities, source selection expertise, risk management, and best practices
Security Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance or Higher, must have a favorable adjudication for background investigation (T4 or T5)
- Completion of required security and IT training
- Adherence to DHS and CBP security protocols and non-disclosure requirements
