Zantech is looking for an upcoming talented Senior System Technical Architect (onsite at Pentagon) who is a good oral and written communicator. The person must have a broad knowledge and expertise in the subject matter and be able to act as a functional expert in the design and development of IT systems. This position frequently works with the DEVSECOPS development team.
Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
- Interfaces with clients to define technical requirements.
- Reviews schedule and aligns project work plan and deadlines with engineering/technical requirements.
- Coordinates and monitors the completion of activities in all phases of the project cycle.
- Responsible for the engineering analysis, development, design of and the preparation of complete plans and specifications for new work and improvements.
- Provides technical oversight and evaluation concerning all engineering disciplines as they pertain to all project work.
- Update existing user manuals with application changes and new functionality.
- Work with the entire team (Developers, Testers, Analysts and leadership) to understand new functionality and provide feedback regarding user interfaces.
Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:
- B.A. or B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Chief Information Officer (CIO)/G6, Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), or other DoD equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in DoD Information Technology and Army Business Systems comparable in complexity to DENIX, KBCRS, and AWS/AWS GovCloud at Impact Level (IL) 4/5.
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
- Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
- High business and technical aptitude to learn new applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work directly multiple contractor and government teams.
- Strong self-motivation and organizational skills.
- Experience with computer-based training software.
- Advance PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional.
- IAM III Certification - CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO
Required Security Clearance:
Active SECRET or higher clearance based on contract requirements
